The right's version — the sentence as the gender-critical movement used it first: women, girls, lesbians, or gay people "thrown under the bus" to accommodate trans people, and cheers whenever an institution dropped one of us.
The charge against Democrats — a Democrat, or the party, accused of throwing trans people under the bus.
